To celebrate FAJ's 46th year, we invite you to our kick-off party for our new Filipino Community Wellness Program.

Movement Kamayan is a feast for the mind, body and spirit that will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Ed Roberts Campus in Berkeley.

The program highlights important components of mental health and wellness: movement, community, and whole food traditions and nutrition.

Attendees will enjoy an hour of U-Jam dance, a short program on wellness techniques and a full Filipino kamayan meal eaten with their hands including chefs talks. This meal will be prepared by Dominic Ainza, a local award-winning chef and FAJ board member.

Just announced...chefs Aileen Suzara of Sariwa and JayAr Pugao of No Worries will be joining the line up! Together, the chefs will share a new take on the kamayan tradition.

We invite you to support this endeavor with a sponsorship and your attendance. Join a cross section of more than 150 participants in this joyous party. Sponsorships also help subsidize the attendance of community members, youth, and students who cannot afford the price of a ticket.

Vegan and vegetarian options available!
